Oh my, the level of activity has risen. :oops: Man, I've been lurking in the NF for a while and finding very disappointing topics being addressed here and there. Lately, Sasuhina has been dominating my mind as of late (a euphemism for my complete obsession with Sasuke and everything that includes him)... I'll be here more often then. Dx I have a feeling I'm turning into the fan who thinks SasuHina will happen and if not I will be pained. Hm... not that it's a bad thing, but I am aware of the fact that this pairing is crack. Hm, it's all your theories fueling my imagination. All the theories making everything sound so plausible. And addressing the Sasuke and Hinata family... SasuHina is something that you see so little of these days in anime/manga, but you see plenty of in real life: Two quiet people finding their ways to one another, healing their hearts in their own way. Like NaruHina, SasuHina is a couple where the strength given is consensual, though that's where the similarities end. While in NaruHina, Naruto gives Hinata courage and Hinata gives Naruto acceptance, in SasuHina the two would connect on a deeper level I think. WHile Sasuke is a bit of a prick, if he truly cares for someone he will do it in a way of negative reinforcement--though not exactly the best way to appeal to the kicked puppy Hinata, it could give Hinata a thicker skin over time if he played his cards right. Because they are too absorbed in their own pain and conflicts to spare each other notice. (However, I did notice in volume 8 that they stood right next to each other when the second chuunin exam was finished and the teams were lined up waiting for the first round of the prelimaries...) And maybe, when life is finally rolling them along, they will finally see each other. Remember, Naruto is the main character, not Sasuke, and if you noticed Sakura is like the female hero. Hinata and Sasuke are the runner-ups, like important side characters. Glad I got that out of my mind... *scratches head* Actually, I noticed something between Sasuke and Sakura, too. I mean, Sasuke never saw his team as his companions until they convinced him through time, giving him reason to trust them. Hinata's the same with her love for Naruto. Unlike the blonde who gave not one reason why he started loving Sakura in the first place, Hinata's admiration for him evolved into feelings. Both Hinata and Sasuke need reasons to feel their emotions, which makes them the smarter and level-headed pair, but both Sakura and Naruto all act on impulse and personal actions. Funny, huh? ^^ Sometimes, love is not always drawn between people who are so different and unalike, except for individuals who are similar to relate to each other. Does that make sense? Because the stories I write with pairings (both fanfiction and original stories) always turn out with the boy and girl being completely different from the other and possess completely different strengths and weaknesses. But over time, the two had to adjust to each other before they learned to accept each other and raise each other up. Kinda like that...
