The Definition of Cardinal: Most important, influential, or significant: capital, chief, first, foremost, key, leading, main, major, number one, paramount, premier, primary, prime, principal, top. Not only that but he was being easy on her (he gave her enough time to get out of the genjutsu he was using). Another note, Itachi and Kurenai kinda look alike. LOL. But on a serious note, Kurenai once said "I'm a sexy big sister type!" and if we recall right ahem, Itachi...is one sexy beast of a brother. (coughbeautifulcough) There has to be a reason for that too. Notes: Kurenai in the filler arc had a student who had unstable emotions and would really remind you of Sasuke. Her name was Yakuma (I think) and just like Sasuke, her family was extinct. And lastly, while both Shikamaru and Sasuke were in the academy, Kurenai was their teacher. Oddly, Kakashi is leading her team this time. (Find this odd? I do. Remember, Kakashi said he would observe the Hyuuga clan more after seeing Neji)

Hm, but he had intended, meaning he planned to, not make her a ninja, but he planned to give her regular clothes. So, if he had already planned her character, a regular person, she would've still had a role of some sort; not as a ninja, but as a regular person. I wonder what that role would've been like, had she not been a ninja... :conf1
