What did you think of the most recent chapter, 385?
I think it's adding on to our theories...
The Mangekyou Sharingan, has a very unique characteristic. From the day you awaken it, your eyes begin a slow descent into darkness. The more you use them, the quicker the process moves.
The Kaleidoscope will eventually lose it's light.
If you look closely at that page, it says faintly:
Remember - "Mangekyou" is the Japanese word for "Kaleidoscope" - It means "Mirror of 10,000 Flowers"
Remember, Hinata can mean flower, and the Byakugan-Hyuuga can symbolize a mirror.
The octagonal mirror was used to lure the sun goddess, Amaterasu, out of a cave. According to myth, Amaterasu saw her reflection and was then convinced to end the darkness of the world.
The Yata no Kagami is the emblem used by kodokan judo. It is believed
that the mirror does not reflect physical beauty, but that of the
soul.

OMG Aciren! I was gotta state that too! Wow, your so much faster than me...
But my theory was that Mangekyou Sharingan causes Blindness. The Hyuuga's appear to be blind, ne?

Those mentioned in the Theory of Imperial Regalia (the same for all the theories) are just speculations so I personally think it's too early to assume anything over them and the translated tidbit.
The theories are yet to be proven right or wrong. I don't mind either way but I'd be happy if they turn right although I don't keep all hopes up; if they turn out wrong I might as well be prepared for it.
However, Sharingan means mirror wheel eye; hence, Mangekyou Sharingan being mirror-like is to be expected. It is just a higher level of the bloodline limit after all.

Interesting thing I found...
MurasakiThe fictional character of Murasaki was the hidden daughter of Prince Hyobu. At a young age, she was taken from relative obscurity in the countryside to come live with Genji first as a pseudo daughter and later as his beloved wife. Murasaki in the later half of her life long decided to become a nun, but Genji never allowed this and her wish was left unfilled in life. She also raised the Empress Akashi.Hikaru Kenji 光源氏, "The brilliant Genji"In the story, he is described as the most handsome man in the world and he attracts all women. Genji is the second son of Emperor Kiritsubo (桐壺帝), but he is delegated to civilian life for political reasons and begins a career as an imperial officer. The tale concentrates on his romantic life and gives an impressive portrait of the customs of the time.
Genji was given the appellation Hikaru no Kimi (光の君, the Shining Prince) in his youth. He is also referred to in the book as Rokujō no In (六条院) sometimes abbreviated as In (院). His given name is never referred to in the course of the story.
He is a fictitious person but it is thought the author was inspired by some historical figures including Minamoto no Tōru who was a grandson of Emperor Saga hence one of the Saga Genji clan.
Hikaru Genji was born the second son of emperor Kiritsubo by his lower ranked consort, Kiritsubo no Koi (桐壺更衣). Genji was blessed with peerless beauty and genius, even from infancy, and was nicknamed "the Shining Prince". His mother Kiritsubo died when he was only three years old. Pursuing the ideal of his mother, he became involved with many women in his lifetime.
His father Emperor Kiritsubo considered appointing the Shining Prince the crown Prince. He was however worried that his second son had no support from his maternal line. And it had been predicted by a Korean that if Hikaru would ascend to the throne, the country would be thrown into chaos. This prediction discouraged him too. Finally the Emperor lowered Hikaru's rank to civilian, giving him the clan name Minamoto, (Genji).
Genji adored his stepmother Lady Fujitsubo (藤壺), the favorite consort of Emperor Kiritsubo. Since her close resemblance to the dead Lady Kiritsubo was the reason that Emperor Kiritsubo had her enter his court, this was not surprising. As a result of their forbidden love, she bore a boy (later Emperor Reizei, 冷泉帝) to Genji, but no one knew the truth of his birth, and the child was raised as a prince and son of Emperor Kiritsubo.
He had two wives in the legal sense during his life: Lady Aoi (Aoi no Ue、葵の上) and Onna san no Miya (女三の宮, known in the Arthur Waley translation as Nyōsan, 女さん or "The Third Princess"), the third daughter of Emperor Suzaku (朱雀帝) respectively. Lady Aoi was his wife in his youth and died after she bore a son to Genji. Onna san no Miya was, on the other hand, his wife in his old age. She was a daughter of Emperor Suzaku by a lady whose sister was Empress Fujitsubo, hence her niece. But his de facto wife and most beloved one was Lady Murasaki (Murasaki no Ue, 紫の上), another niece of Fujitsubo. Genji met her by chance when she was very young - at the age of twelve. When her grandmother who brought her up died, and before her real father could take her to his mansion, Genji kidnapped Murasaki and brought her up himself. After Aoi died, Genji made her his unofficial wife. But their marriage didn't follow the whole protocol of official marriage, though she received as many honours as the factual wife of Genji, she remained officially his concubine, and that was one of the reasons Genji was offered the opportunity to marry the Third Princess. Genji couldn't reject this offer because of his affection for Fujitsubo, but this young girl was totally different from Fujitsubo and he was very disappointed and had many regrets.
Genji had many love affairs. He even made love to one of his brother's de facto consorts, Oborozukiyo (朧月夜). She was nominally the Head of Ladies-in-waiting and no official consort, but it was a scandal. Genji moved to Suma, in Harima province (播磨国), before he could be expelled officially by his enemies.
In Harima province, Genji met Lady Akashi and had a daughter by her. Later his brother Emperor Suzaku was afflicted by illness and feared it was a result of his poor treatment of his brother, Genji. Genji was invited to return to Miyako (nowaday Kyoto). He left Lady Akashi and the child and returned to Kyoto.
After Genji was back in Kyoto, Emperor Suzaku abdicated in favor of the crown prince (Reizei) who was really the son of Genji. This prince ascended to the throne, but he learned the secret of his birth by chance, and wanted to abdicate in favor of his real father, Genji. It was however impossible and as the second best, Emperor Reizei gave Genji the same rank as an abdicated emperor. After rising to this noblest rank, Genji was called Rokujo-in, a name taken from his mansion.
Genji wanted his daughter to be the next Empress. He invited Lady Akashi and the child (known as Princess Akashi, 明石の姫) to Kyoto. Later, Lady Murasaki adopted this girl and brought her up. This girl became a consort of the crown prince and later his empress.
At the age of forty, he married his niece, Onna san no Miya. This marriage did not make him happy. Kashiwagi (柏木), a son of his friend Naidaijin (内大臣), hence a nephew of Lady Aoi, lusted after Onna san no Miya and sought her love even after her marriage with Genji. Finally he intruded into Rokujoin and raped her. She bore a boy whose father was Kashiwagi. Genji was angry but finally realizes it was just what he had done to his father, and it was a reward of his past treachery to his father and emperor. He decided to keep the secret of the birth of this boy and to bring him up as his real and third child.
After Lady Murasaki died, he became a monk and secreted himself in Saga (嵯峨). One year later he died too.

Another thing...
There's a story about
Urashima TarōOne day a young fisherman named Urashima Tarō was fishing when he noticed a small turtle being tormented by some children. Tarō saved it and let it go back to the sea. The day after a huge turtle approached him and told him that the small turtle he had saved was the daughter of the Emperor of the Sea, who wanted to see him to thank him. The turtle magically gave Tarō gills and brought him to the bottom of the sea, to the Palace of the Dragon (Ryūgū-jō). There he met the Emperor and the small turtle, who was now a lovely princess.
Tarō stayed there with her for a few days, then he was caught by the desire to go back to his village and see his aging mother, so he asked her permission to leave. The princess said she was sorry to see him go, but wished him well and gave him a mysterious box which she told him never to open, for whatever reason. Tarō grabbed the box, jumped on the back of the same turtle that had brought him to the Palace, and soon was home.
But everything had changed. His home was gone, his mother had vanished, the people he knew were nowhere to be seen. He asked if anybody knew a man called Urashima Tarō. They answered that they had heard someone of that name had vanished at sea long ago. He discovered that 300 years had passed since the day he had left for the bottom of the sea. Struck by grief, he absent-mindedly opened the box the princess had given him. Out of it came a cloud of white smoke. He suddenly aged, his beard grew long and white, and his back bent. He was now a very old man. And from the sea came the sad, sweet voice of the princess: "I told you not to open that box. In it was your old age ..."
As always with folklore, there are many different versions of this extremely famous story.

I'm not sure if you're talking to me :conf5 But just in case:
I am familiar with the Genji Monogatari but haven't come to use it because he has soo many women  I think what you found is still interesting! I'll play around if I can come up with something.
On the other hand, Urashima Taro has been subtly mentioned in the Seventh Theory - The Demon Queller.

lol, I was talking to everyone on their thoughts. :)
Well, when I read about how many women he had, I thought of how many fangirls Sasuke has/had.
LIST OF FANGIRLS:
-Sakura Haruno
-Ino Yamanaka
-Tenten
-Temari
-Karin
-All those girls in the SasuNaru kiss scene
So maybe in this case, instead of it being the women he's slept with and such like Genji; for Sasuke, it would be... how many fangirls he has/had?
:conf2
I don't know what I'm saying... :?

You know, in the latest chapter Sasuke mentioned (and even caught on) that Itachi couldn't kill the whole clan by himself, because the Uchiha are practically part of the police force.
And Itachi ADMITTED, yes he had one other to assist with the killing. Uchiha Madara: which goes back to our theory if Uchiha Shisui (the mirage) has anything to do with it.
Though from what I speculated before if the cloud country had anything to do with ithe Uchiha clan massacre could be a conflicting mystery for something else. Maybe on Hinata's side of her story?
And Sasuke said that after he will kill Itachi, he's gonna find the other Uchiha survivor and kill him, too. And from what Itachi said about the Mangekyou Sharingan:
The Mangekyou Sharingan, has a very unique characteristic. From the day you awaken it, your eyes begin a slow descent into darkness. The more you use them, the quicker the process moves.
The Kaleidoscope will eventually lose it's light.
It's kinda hinting the idea of Hinata possibly interacting with Sasuke. And from what we're guessing, the byakugan is impervious, or an advantage against genjutsu. XP I'm betting a battle between genjutsu experts will take... awhile. So having her as an ally to fight the forefather can be very convenient.
And for Sasuke to pursue after Tobi, when he's soon gonna piece together the coincidences of confronting other Akatsuki members, he MUST cross the paths of the Naruto group in order to do that. Originally, their plan was to capture Itachi to bait Sasuke but events are folding in different outcomes. It will be stupid of they haven't even intercepted each other once throughout the simultaneous ordeals. :?

In the opening episode of part II, Sakura blushes around Naruto and in a later arc it is only the presence of Sai which interupts a tender moment between the two, indicating a deepening of her feelings for Naruto. After Naruto's battle with Orochimaru, Yamato begins to explain the feelings Sakura holds for Naruto but he regains consciousness as Yamato is about to explain to the kunoichi why she desires to protect Naruto; the scene has a subtle implication that her feelings for Naruto have gone deeper than friendship. Sakura's feelings towards Sasuke have also been altered, and she holds Sasuke as a dear friend than a mere crush.
BAM!! Right there! PROOF SAKURA HAS MOVED ON!!! :D
Yosh! If you're wondering where I got this from, check out Narutopedia. ^^
Totally reliable (alot more reliable than Wikipedia.)
What do you think?
I got really excited (because of lack of sleep...). :ruchan
