SasukexHinata Theory
I don't know why, but I love the idea of Sasuke and Hinata, moreso than any couple in the Narutoverse. It frustrates me that there are very few hints on them within the manga/anime. This is my idea of why they should be good together. I'm sorry if any (or all) of this has been stated before... I haven't read too many theories on them: 1. Hinata never showed an interest in Sasuke. While all the other kunoichis were fangirling over Sasuke, she never once acknowledged him. On the other hand, she watched Naruto for years, so she claimed. 2. The above adds to the Naruto/Sasuke rivalry. Part of the animosity between Naruto and Sasuke has always been one has achieved what the other has not. Naruto wanted Sakura, but Sakura wanted Sasuke. I think the circle would be complete if it came around that Sasuke wants Hinata, but Hinata wants Naruto. 3. The Bloodline limit. Need I say more? These two are meant to be!!! With their eyes they are able to see more than anyone else within the Narutoverse... 4. Another factor with the Bloodline limit is Sasuke's infamous statement: http://groups.msn.com/NarutoMangaReturns/volume11.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=6239 "The ressurection of my clan..." Sasuke doesn't seem like the type to settle for pretty kunoichi that wiggles her tight butt his way. I enjoyed the idea that someone put forth that he might want someone who reflects his mother. From what we saw of her his mom was a gentle, soothing, soft spoken woman. And who does that sound like? Also, he has shown time and again how much he dislikes the fangirls. And as we all know, Hinata has never been one. This may peak his interest. Especially with the new storyline (Hinata with Naruto on search for Sasuke) this may lead to a potential encounter. My only fear is that Kishimoto will not expand on the relationship. But with Hinata in Naruto's group, I'm hoping they will run into each other, and we'll be seeing some developing of relationships. I had a few more ideas, but they escape my brain now. I'll add on, later. Please feel free to something that I may have missed, and I love input! Thanks!

Thank you, July. And I've read most of your theories and found them so fascinating. I also think you may be on to something, there seems to be a lot of links between Hinata and Sasuke through mythology. Another thing that I think links them is Hinata's personality. And I'm sure this has been touched on a thousand times but besides Gaara, I don't think any of the characters relate better to Naruto and Sasuke's situation than Hinata. Not even Neji, who found comfort in immersing himself within his fighting style. And even though he was a branch member Hinata's father obviously approved of him (as evidenced by him telling Hanabi to watch Neji closely). True she had a family, but the flashbacks have shown it wasn't much of a family. She fell horribly low of her father's expectations, and her shyness didn't win her any friends. Her childhood was probably just as lonely and painful as Sasuke's, and something that could possibly bond them later on. I really hope these two get together! I have a regular Naruto forum I post at and everyone there calls me silly for wanting these two together. But I'm waiting for the days when I can write "I TOLD YOU SO, JERKS!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" :twisted:
