Thought of the week... Hachi, Inuzuka Kiba and Aburame Shino Important Note #1: This comparison will make reference to The Hakkenden, a 1990's anime series based on the epic novel Nansou Satomi Hakkenden written by Bakin Kyokutei. This novel is believed to be the grea-*test*-('") samurai novel ever made thus far. Hakkenden tells the story of eight samurai brothers and their legendary adventures. The mother was cursed to 'spiritually' give birth to dogs who were scattered across different places. Hence, these warriors were known as Hakkenshi, literally Eight (hak, 八) Dog (ken, 犬) Warriors (shi, 士). Each warrior has a last name that starts with Inu (犬) which means dog. Incidentally, one of these eight warriors is actually named Inuzuka Shino Moritaka :jk Which somehow is similar to Team 8's own Inuzuka Kiba and Aburame Shino.

Here's an awesome-possum thought for you... What if SasuHina actually became canon in the next chapter, or the chapters to come? What would be your first reaction and what would be your second?:mrgreen:

I peeked at some spoilers and found out Sasuke's true intentions were to destroy the whole village, like he said the first time. But what got me thinking is this: What about his goal to revive the Uchiha clan? At the moment, it's just out there! Last time I checked, Sasuke never went back on his words. Surely Kishi didn't intend to make him a liar... Oh lord... you just threw me into a fit of laughter! :rofl I think my first reaction would be for me to go brain dead for 5 seconds, then throw whatever is in my lap to the floor and dance like crazy. Hmm--if Sasuke does intend to actually destroy all of Konoha... he's going to have one heck of a hard time doing it. I doubt the Inuzuka, Aburame, Hyuga, or any other clan in Konoha is just going to sit back and let him. Nah... I think Naruto's gonna beat the snot out of him and make him see the error of his ways--just like he does with every enemy he faces. lol The reviving of the Uchiha clan seems to stump me, cuz if I was some random girl in Naruto and got picked to be the 'lucky lady' I'd probably hit Sasuke. XD

Jump-Fest Interview March 2008 SJ = Shonen Jump MK = Masashi Kishimoto SJ: There's many rumours regarding Madara being the absolute final villain. Is this true? MK: Madara being the final villain is yet to be seen and I can not let that information out just yet. But he will play a big part as a villain, that's for sure. SJ: Now that it's officially known that Yondaime is Naruto's father, will you show more of Minato? MK: Yes, definitely. I actually wanted to reveal more about Yondaime earlier, but other characters were in development and some fights still had to be dealt with. SJ: While we're at it ... could you please tell us if Minato was the strongest shinobi that ever lived? MK: Hmm, it's a tricky question. As far as dead shinobis goes, then yes, he's the strongest. I'd say that Sandaime shares the number one spot with him. As far as living shinobis goes... well, without going into many details I'd have to say no. There's a couple of shinobis whose stronger than him. SJ: Now that Itachi seems to be dead, what is Kisame going to do now? MK: Kisame has always come off as a sidevillain whose only purpose is to travel along Itachi. But to my surprise, Kisame has gone from an unpopular character to someone whose more popular than Deidara after the Gai-fight. I won't say too much, but Kisame is a character that wont die anytime soon. I will definitely develop on his character and possibly make him more ... SJ: Make him what? MK: It's a surprise. I'm not sure if this is the whole interview, but at least it's something.

And even though this interview happened a few years ago and Kishi's mind is liable to change, I'm getting a good feeling from Kishi's responses. ^^ SJ. Will Hinata, Ino, Tenten, Temari, and Sakura have love lives? KM: I hope so! From another interview. SJ: There are several cases of unrequited love in Naruto. I mean, Naruto, Sakura, Ino, Hinata, and Rock Lee are in some. Will any of them ever have their love return? KM: Ah. Well, perhaps. You're right, there are lots of cases. I'd never really thought about it until now, but they do make me sympathize more with the characters. Maybe at least one case will be requited. I would just have to figure out how to go about it. SJ: We're hoping Hinata gets her chance. KM: Me, too. When they mentioned Hinata might just get her chance at love, it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be with Naruto. :wink: Most fans think the obvious: SasuSaku, NaruHina. You know, Sakura isn't the only girl for Sasuke. :x He has a wide range of woman groveling at his feet. And Naruto isn't the only boy for Hinata. She'll manage in life somehow. Both girls can move on without them. :roll: God, sometimes girls can be such drama-queens... It's annoying.

Lol. Sounds like you've had a bad case of drama-queen incidents in your life. To the obvious fans... I really don't no where they get the idea that sasusaku and naruhina automatically have to happen or else the poor girls can't live on and they wither away to nothing! Cry me a river fantards... it's called life and you don't always get what you want. It's all one sided affection coming from both girls. Meh. That's why I like SasuHina, seems more like a realistic couple to me.
