Guess What?
I was talking to my friend earlier (a fan of Naruto), and I asked him this curious question: "Who can you picture Sasuke ending up with - if he doesn't die, of course. Lol." :) By thinking for a few minutes, mulling over all the NARUTO females we know, he gave me an honest opinion. Hinata. :thumb And he couldn't imagine Sasuke with the other girls, because fangirlism is everywhere! XD Now get this! :P He's not exactly a fan of SasuHina, and he's cool with the fact I like SasuHina and everything, but I was impressed with his opinion, because he's impartial to the popularity of pairings. Basically, he said it out of logic of the situation. (My friend hasn't come across this site, so he doesn't know of July_Winter's theories.) The two of us discussed that - yes, Hinata and Sasuke stick out like a sore thumb - as individuals. It's so obvious! The answer is hidden in plain sight. The possibility of Sasuke and Hinata as a pairing is completely overlooked. And we both admitted, if SasuHina does become official, the two of us would laugh at the irony. :lol1

SasuHina is, indeed, far-fetched at the moment (concerning recent events). And I do agree that it is often overlooked because of: (1) lack of past interaction (assuming we've seen everything) ; (2) Hinata's spiralling emotions for Naruto while Sasuke is bent to avenge his family. But for me, it's too early to tell a closure (on pairings, that is).

Lucky you Danko Kaji, at least you have a friend that picked Hinata first instead of all the other girls. My friend Faith, when I asked her what pairing she likes and told her mine, she looked at me like I was crazy. XD (she's an Ino fangirl) But you know, after I told her I couldn't stomach Sasuke with a fangirl--she agreed and slowly thought it over... then I gave her 'Torn' to read and she now can't see Sasuke without Hinata anymore. Also the laughing in irony, crap if SasuHina did happen... let's just say I'd be putting in some well deserved revenge on those nasty NaruHina/SasuSaku fantards... the mean ones at least. >D

You guys, I've posted a rough outline of the one-shot I talked about earlier in the SasuHina Fanfiction section - under A Sudden Epiphany. The one where Sakura has to come to terms with the fact Sasuke is with someone else (I.E. Hinata). In other words, my counter-attack to the SasuHina haters. XD

This is my guess of the week. After reading Ch. 418, I just gotta say, I think Sasuke might change sides from Akatsuki to Konoha - on a whim! - for some important reason or another. When the attack on Konoha is successful, I have a feeling that something might happen against what Sasuke had initially planned to do and will convince him to do what he doesn't really want to do. At least, that's just me. :doh1 Did that make any sense? :lol1

I would almost be in agreement, in that Sasuke will switch sides, but I don't think it will happen during the attack on Konoha. Rather, I feel it will be after the fact and it won't be on a whim. I think it will be after Sasuke realizes that things aren't as cut and dry like he perceives them to be. I do, however, feel there will be a culmination of sorts during the attack on Konoha. Mostly surrounding the three ocular Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan, Byakugan, Rin'negan. Its been bothering me for a while now, but after rereading the manga chapters involving certain information on these eye oriented blood limits I've started thinking and putting together my own theory on what will happen. But I think I will save that for the theories section instead of putting it here. ^_^
