Various Pairings, Song Fiction, Song: You by Nil Karaibrahimgil (I translated the lyrics, sorry if they don't make any sense) YOU The young woman climbed up the stairs with hard, fast steps. There was a scowl on her beautiful features. She was tired after her long time term mission for her home village and the only thing she wanted was a good rest but as soon as she stepped into the house and saw the mess she wanted to kill the man, her well-known genius husband at the spot when she saw him. Throwing her heavy and big fan at the side of the wall in the entrance she checked the rooms one by one before she decided to look at the roof. She rolled her green eyes which were flashing angry. As she guessed her husband was there on the rooftop. Not cloud gazing but sleeping. She stepped on the rooftop and looked at him undecided, her hand rested on her hips. She took a few steps forward to him but then stopped. Sighing she turned and went back as silent as she could. The man looked after the blond woman with an eye open until the tip of her short pigtails on top of her head got lost at the stairs. Closing back his eye he turned to the other side yawning and began to doze of one more time a grin on his lips. If you asked me I was ugly I was incapable I didn’t know womanhood, I was very clumsy Your love for me, or did you joke? The young woman looked at herself while combing her long brown hairs. She usually wore her hair as two buns on the top of her head because it was easy and comfortable while fighting. On the other hand she has no idea how to do her hair like most of the female population in the village. She was not grown up like a girl as communities defined. She had always liked to play with dangerous and sharp weapons. Her clothes were not very feminine or manly. They were comfortable and good for fighting. She watched her husband who came out of the bathroom from the mirror. He sat on the bed his long dark brown air falling over his shoulders. The cursed mark on his forehead was beautiful as to her although the mean it carried or he had it always hidden under his hitai-ate of their village. In fact it could be accepted as another cursed seal. The mark of their villages on their foreheads. They were belonged to there. As ninja they devoted their loyalty, respect, service and their lives to their village. He sat on the bed and began to bandage his arms carefully and slowly while his wife began to fold her hair into tight buns. She was the master of the weapons. There wasn’t any weapon she couldn’t use. In the years she was grown up to a beautiful woman although she has never cared how she looked or tried to be beautiful. She was strong and clever. She has always been beside him since their childhood days in academy. You intoxicated and always high tided me You loved me a lot, do you regret? You tried, are you friend or foe? She sighed who knows how many times and rolling her eyes she continued her work. She stopped telling him to go and find something to do while she prepared their meal but he refused. He was watching her every move with a stupid look on his face. She was annoyed. Peeling the vegetables she thought about him and all the times they were together. He had never given up but it was his ninja way wasn’t it? Nothing could make him give up. She admired his determination. It has always been her support, the source of her great power which most of people envied. Although most of time she argued with him, scolded him or got angry to him easily she couldn’t say she wasn’t proud by his love for her. He watched the pink haired young woman in admiration even liking the way she was moving around the kitchen while cooking. His childhood crush, teammate, close friend and now his fiancée. His grin on his whiskered face widened leaning his blond head to his strong hands which fought a lot of times for the village, for his friends, for the people he loved. Was I different no I wasn’t, and also I was proud I would say I would change but I wouldn’t, I was always same me How you looked at me and deviated, did you joke? Did you mean me? You have always exalted me You loved a lot do you regret? You tried, are you friend of foe? You loved a lot, do you regret? She peeked into the bedroom from the half open door. Her husband was sleeping with their baby son in his arms. She saw his eyes open lazily giving a little glimpse of black orbs before closing back. She smiled continuing her way. Even while he was asleep he was still on alert. His senses were always open, excepting and ready for anything. Slowly the smile dropped from her porcelain doll face and her eyes saddened. It was because of the hard life he had. She looked around the living room sadly. They were living in the house of his family. She tried to imagine the family which once lived there. She wondered if their life was alike her family’s. In a way their parents were similar. The fathers, head of the clans’ who were hard and strong and always had to stand tall and powerful. Mothers, supportive, caring always worried for their family while their husbands were cared more about the clans. They had always had to be perfect and strong. They were the people who the members of the clan trusted and looked up. So there was no place for mistakes or weakness for the main family of a clan. Sitting down she began to fold the new washed clothes pilled in front of her. Her long black hair tied in a loose ponytail. The shorter locks at the side of her face were falling over her shoulders. In spite of her jacket and capri pants she used to wear as a kunoichi she had a comfortable kimono while doing chores at home. She wondred what would the future had for them. But she knew niether she or her husband wanted to make the same mistakes their parents did. He shifted the baby on his arm carefully. To his relief the baby stirred but drifted back to his sleep on his chest as soon as he rested the little creature on him. He was back from his mission late in the night. His wife woke up when he entered the house. She heated the meal for him while he had a long bath. Then they went bed but not before he gave a look to his son sleeping in his cradle beside their bed. When he woke up in the morning his wife was already up feeding their baby. After noon he joined his son at his nap. In his light sleep he could feel her walking around the house or her sensei and his genin sensei, who was now blind and living with them, having light little conversations. The legendary white fang’s legendary son, copy cat’s two teenage children, a boy and a girl, were in dojo sparring. Some of the ninja who were well-known and famous usually had a secret life behind their fame. Nobody would know what they were really or their life. So nobody was aware the little family the most famous ninja of Konoha had until he brought them out. It was a long time the house and the compound were empty, silent but now he was there with his own family and their constant guests. One by one he completed his goals and dreams. You tried, are you friend of foe? You intoxicated and always high tided me You loved a lot, do you regret? You tried, are you friend of foe? You loved a lot, do you regret? You tried, are you friend of foe? You loved a lot, do you regret?
